PTFE is fluoropolymer possessing a unique combination of frictional, chemical, thermal, and electrical properties. It has non-stick nature, non wetting and is self-lubricating. It has outstanding chemicals resistance and is unaffected by all known chemicals except alkali metals, fluorine under certain conditions. It has excellent weather resistance . PTFE has the widest working temperature range, the best of the solid dielectrics an excellent insulator.
